Thanks for joining us!
Emergency Services Chaplaincy is a nonprofit organization providing comfort to those in need during crisis situations in accordance with the directive given in 2 Corinthians 1:3-4.

"Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God."

We provide chaplain services to the victims of tragedy and the Emergency Response personnel who assist those in need.

Senior Chaplain Howard Burgess ministers to emergency responders at the Graniteville Train Incident. The train derailment resulted in the death of nine individuals, injured hundreds, and displaced thousands.

Chaplain Burgess was also instrumental in the formation of the "Town Meetings" conducted to provide information to the displaced residents and Emergency Services Chaplaincy members assisted in numerous Critical Incident Stress Debriefings conducted after the event.
